Roles & Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Network Consultant, you will play a hands-on role in delivering network and wireless projects and providing technical support across customer environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Deploying and supporting enterprise network solutions across campus, branch, and data centre environments
* Assisting with the creation of technical documentation, including low-level designs, implementation plans, and handover guides
* Supporting the delivery of WLAN projects, including surveys, optimisation, and troubleshooting
* Conducting wireless site surveys using tools such as Ekahau, analysing WLAN performance, and recommending improvements
* Implementing and configuring wireless technologies including Cisco Catalyst Wireless, controllers, and access points
* Working with project managers and senior engineers to ensure successful project delivery
* Participating in assessments of existing networks to identify issues, risks, or upgrade requirements
* Providing occasional presales support, such as basic bill-of-materials input or scoping assistance
* Supporting knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams
Your Skills & Experience
* Experience delivering enterprise network projects in medium-to-large environments
* Hands-on knowledge of routing & switching technologies (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus preferred)
* Good understanding of core routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
* Practical experience with wireless networking, WLAN design principles, and RF fundamentals
* Experience using Ekahau for Wi-Fi design, validation, and troubleshooting (desirable but highly beneficial)
* Familiarity with Cisco Wireless controllers, access points, and WLAN best practices
* Exposure to SD-WAN, DNA Center, or cloud-managed networking (advantageous)
* CCNP or working towards equivalent level
* Strong communication skills and a methodical, organised approach
