Maintenance Technician

Hourly rate of £16.11 plus a shift allowance increment
Here at Taylor Stevenson we are delighted to offer a newly created contact Maintenance Technician role for our growing client based in Knowsley, Merseyside.
This Mainteenance Technician role is to provide reactive and planned maintenance cover for all plant, supporting cross functional support to other areas of the business. The role is on an interim basis for up to 12 months to cover a contract win and they really need an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running and add value from the off.
The successful candidate will have ideally completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship and have relevant work experience in a process or heavy engineering background.
Key experience -
* A City and Guilds qualification, NVQ Level3 ina mechanical or electrical discipline
* A suitable health & safety certificate
* Experience of working in a regulated business environment
* Experience of working under a permit to work system
* Regulatory monitoring requirement training
* Fault finding experience in a complex plant environment
* Experience in using CMMS
