Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of safe and effective care to oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, radiotherapy, and palliative care. Ensure adherence to national oncology guidelines (e.g., UKONS, NICE), protocols, and treatment pathways. Oversee compliance with all regulatory, professional, and organisational standards, including those from CQC, HIS, HIW, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and mentorship for nurses and support staff, promoting ongoing professional development. Work with consultants, pharmacy, and external partners to streamline services and enhance the patient experience. Promote a compassionate and personalised approach to care, respecting the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of cancer patients and their families.
We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead - Oncology to join our team in the Oncology department.

Working Hours
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
