Finance Assistant
Temporary - Immediate Start
Location: Bolton
Full-time, temporary (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a busy Finance Department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience to contribute to a professional and friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain purchase ledgers, process invoices and ensure accurate financial coding and authorisation.
Prepare and process BACS payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
Manage billing and credit control for specific services
Assist with the billing and other miscellaneous charges.
Process petty cash, staff expenses and credit card transactions.
Provide regular financial reports to budget holders and assist with queries.
Support other members of the finance team as required.
About You
Experience working in a finance or accounts role.
Confident with purchase ledger and billing processes.
Strong numerical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in using finance systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
This is a temporary position requiring an immediate start. Applicants must be available to work full-time hours (35 hours per week)
