The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technically strong andmercially aware Finance Manager to join a major UK-based business with a global footprint. This is a high-profile role within aplex, fast-paced organisation that operates across multiple brands and geographies, including the UK, Ireland, and international markets.
You’ll be joining a business that is part of a wider global group, with significant scale, a strong brand portfolio, and amitment to transformation and innovation in finance.
This role sits within the Group Financial Reporting & Controls function and plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate, timely, andpliant financial reporting across multiple legal entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple business units.
2. Ensurepliance with
US GAAP, IFRS, and internal group policies.
3. Manage the statutory accounts preparation and audit process for UK and ROI entities.
4. Act as a key liaison between retained finance and offshore transactional teams.
5. Drive improvements in financial controls and champion SOXpliance.
6. Provide technical accounting support and deputise for the Head of Group Reporting.
7. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and external auditors.
Key Requirements
8. Qualified Accountant
(ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge.
9. Proven experience in a large, matrixed organisation—ideally with exposure to both UK and US reporting standards.
10. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
11. Experience working with SAP, Cognos, and advanced Excel.
12. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
