MET Technician Needed in Worcestershire
1. Salary: Up to £18 per hour depending on experience + overtime
2. Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with overtime available - 40 & 45 hour per week contracts available
3. Benefits: 20 Days holiday + bank holidays, pensions, flexible working options, death in service (4x salary)
My client based in Bromsgrove has an exciting opportunity for a MET Technician to join their workshop team! The successful applicant will have the chance to work with a great team and use their expertise to help maintain and repair vehicles.
Responsibilities as an MET Technician:
4. Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components
5. Removing and re installing mechanical and electrical systems
6. Following job cards and repairing to manufactural methods
7. Removing and fitting non structural body panels
8. Assessing faults
Requirements for this MET Technician role:
9. Be confident and an experience vehicle stripper, fitter or MET Technician. Having previously been involved with the assembly and disassembly of vehicles.
10. A relevant qualification in vehicle body repair or equivalent experience as a MET Technician.
11. Ideally have previous experience stripping and fitting all makes and models
12. Be able to effectively communicate with colleagues
13. ATA accreditation is desired, but not essential
