As the Product Manager you will hold a key position, owning the product from inception to end of life, responsible for the P&L and success of the product, to provide class leading solutions for Sepura customers.

Your Role
Your role will be within a team of Product Managers collaborating to develop roadmap of capabilities based upon market demand and innovation that supports the needs of our customer base. You will engage with customers, sales, bid and marketing gathering and prioritising product concepts and aligning to user expectations and business justification. You will drive the product through the development cycle, translating the product concepts in to clear and unambiguous requirements. Your tenacity and eye for detail will take through to product realisation and delivery to customer.
Your Day To Day
Our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our complete TETRA and LTE solutions have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges.
Responsibilities
There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business. Product Management activities you will be responsible for include:
* Take overall responsibility for the success of your products, their fit with the market and the in-life ROI’s
* Interact with internal and external customers to understand the market, recognise opportunities and risks, address operational needs, and drive feature design and engineering priorities
* Contribute towards overall product strategy, evolving it based on research, data and industry trends.
* Develop and maintain a product roadmap and vision.
* Assess new and existing features through user research and data.
* Focus on key usage metrics and work with the team to continuously improve product performance
* Write clear and understandable requirements for both internal and external customers
* Lead and contribute user documentation, data sheet and product bulletin
* Inspire and inform a development team to create and enhance a fantastic product.
* Once the products are in the market you will identify new opportunities to increase user conversion, retention, and monetisation.
* Own the short- mid- and long-term product strategy in line with the company product roadmap.
* Foster strong relationships with internal development team to ensure a collaborative approach to achieving product goals.
* Contribute towards product strategy and vision, creating timelines and roadmaps for developing the product
* Meeting regularly with all stakeholders, including product developers, marketing, customer service, finance etc.
* Collect analyse and respond to user feedback
* Gather and evaluate ideas and opinions
* Manage one or more budgets
* Plan new features and changes to product
* Demonstrate new ideas and features to stakeholders
* Attend conferences and events related to your products
* Inspire and enthuse colleagues and users of the product
* Become expert in your users and your product's market
* Research competitors and similar products
This job involves some travelling so the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence and their own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
The role will require an SC which the successful candidate should be prepared to go through. Sepura will apply for this approval on behalf of the candidate.

Qualifications
* Strong educational background, ideally a degree in an engineering discipline or associated technologies
* 5+ years’ experience in product management.
* Evidence of strong leadership skills and creativity.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good organisation and multitasking abilities.
* A keen eye for detail.
Experience and Skills:
* Proven ability to drive products in complex environments with multiple stakeholders
* Ability to think laterally and to devise successful strategies
* Possess a positive communication style and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to influence across cultures, colleagues, cross functional teams, senior managers and customers
* Strong technical awareness and exposure to key technologies, with specific strengths in mobile operating systems, communication standards and information architecture.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
* Excellent communication skills in the English language, particularly the ability to articulate complex concepts
* Organised and able to effectively manage multiple products
* Attention to detail and excellent proofreading and English languages kills
* Self-motivated, with a strong drive and goal-orientated approach
* Capable of working independently as well as part of a global team
* Responsive and flexible attitude to change and short term demands and unexpected activities
* Consultative approach to problem solving
* Experience with LTE devices
* Experience of Android Platform and applications
