What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, including:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, motors, fans, and rotating equipment
* Carrying out bearing replacements and mechanical seal changes
* Working on pumping stations, including sewage systems and associated equipment
* Lifting and clearing pumps, inspecting float switches, and checking control systems
* Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, long-term solutions
* Interacting directly with customers and representing the business on-site
This is a field-based role with local travel (range of approx 50 miles), offering real variety and autonomy.
What You'll Need
* Solid experience working with pumps, motors, inverters, and mechanical systems
* Understanding of electrical panels and control systems
* Proven experience in pump and motor overhauls (5+ years preferred)
* Comfortable working on-site and liaising with customers
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces (training provided)

Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm
