Head of Market Management – Cities
The Head of Cities role leads the Cities team within our wider Trading & Inventory function. The Trading & Inventory team is responsible for trading performance, inventory management, airline relationships and yield development.
In this role, your focus will be the product and trading strategy across every city break we sell, whether that be through the easyJet holidays website or Flight + Hotel on easyJet.com, across multiple source markets.
Day to day, you'll be responsible for:
* Creating and owning the annual sales and margin plan, tracking performance against forecast and moving quickly when opportunities arise
* Leading and coaching a team of Market Managers, setting clear destination strategies tied to volume, margin and growth targets
* Overseeing daily and weekly trading performance, demand, conversion, pricing and margin, and driving corrective action when it's needed
* Leading commercial negotiations with hotel partners to secure strong rates, allocations, promotions and exclusive deals, particularly in the late market and across seasonal periods
* Keeping the hotel proposition optimised across every city destination with strong pricing, content, availability and merchandising
* Owning the relationship with our key Flight and Hotel partners
* Working with Digital, Marketing and Trade to optimise distribution, improve conversion and remove barriers to sale
* Contributing to yield and pricing system development, supporting automation and scalable processes across the team
* Shaping high-value City and Flight + Hotel initiatives, prioritising what delivers the greatest commercial and customer impact
* Building a high-performing team, developing talent, communicating strategy clearly, and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
What you’ll bring to the team:
* Experience in the leisure travel sector, specifically managing a hotel portfolio sourced from dynamic feeds
* Strong commercial and analytical skills, with a clear bias to action and proven decision making ability
* Experience leading, developing and coaching a team
* The ability to build productive relationships at all levels, with clear evidence of influencing skillsConfidence working in a fast paced, matrixed environment where multiple priorities compete
* Self‑motivation and the ability to organise your own workload and work autonomously
* Comfort with ambiguity and change in an international, cross‑functional environment
What’s in it for you:
In addition to your competitive base salary, we offer an all-inclusive benefits package which includes our company-wide bonus scheme, 7% pension contribution, private medical insurance, share options, life assurance, and a range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your needs. You’ll also have access to heavily discounted flights for yourself and your loved ones, free easyJet Plus membership, annual holiday vouchers, and generous annual leave. The role is full‑time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport, operating a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
