About the role
Ward 36 is looking for a motivated Clinical Support Worker to join our fast paced orthopaedic ward. No prior experience is required; training will be provided in line with hospital trust policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
* Provide personal and holistic care to patients.
* Work closely with nursing staff and other clinical support workers to deliver care and treatment.
* Escalate any changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
* Document care provided and perform clinical observations.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the ward environment.
Qualifications and experience
Motivation, a hardworking attitude, and a willingness to work in a fast paced orthopaedic environment. Training will be provided.
Location
The role may be based in one of several hospitals, including Furness General Hospital (Barrow), Royal Lancaster Infirmary (Lancaster), Westmorland General Hospital (Kendal), as well as community healthcare premises such as Millom Hospital, GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital (Morecambe), and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
