Our Creative Arts section provides our learners with the skills and knowledge with which to progress onto a relevant degree at HE level or directly into a rewarding career within the media, television, film, and creative industries. We work closely with UAL, our awarding body, to ensure our courses are both subject and industry relevant.
We are seeking a part time (28.8 hours per week) Lecturer in Fashion/Textiles and Art and Design, to join our successful team and deliver across a range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 3. You will also assist in developing industry links for live briefs and student work experience.
You will need to possess a minimum of HND (degree preferable) in a relevant subject area, with excellent subject knowledge, and teaching experience of Fashion and Textiles to Level 3 including UAL programmes, and experience of teaching Art and Design up to Level 2. If you do not currently possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector, you will be supported to obtain this by the College.
