Our client, a reputable and well-established independent garage in Nottingham, is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their dedicated team.

Duties of a Service Technician:
* Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
* Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnose faults, and identify components requiring repair or replacement
* Assist with general mechanical repairs as needed, ensuring high standards of workmanship
* Maintain accurate records of jobs undertaken and workshop documentation
* Work efficiently within a team to meet deadlines and deliver excellent customer service
* Ensure all work is completed to comply with legal and safety standards
Requirements of a Service Technician:
* Level 2 automotive qualification recognised within the industry; Level 3 qualification preferred
* Previous experience as a Service Technician or Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
* Strong mechanical knowledge across various makes and models
* Reliable, motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
* Full UK driving licence is essential
