We are looking for an organised, efficient, and experienced Security Officer to join our security team at Shard Place, London's newest luxury address. We are seeking people with the highest standards of customer service, a great attitude and excellent communication skills. Do you have these skills? We will provide training for the role along with further development training.
Successful candidates will be working in a diverse and exciting environment, undertaking a wide variety of roles and tasks. If you show the aptitude, there will be opportunities to seek further development within the wider Mitie family.

* Location: Shard Place
* Shifts & Hours: 12-hour shifts, working days, nights & weekends on a 4 on 4 off basis
* Hourly Rate: £15.91 (Paid breaks)

Main Duties
Security Officers at Shard Place are responsible for providing a seamless 5-star service to visitors, staff & tenants. This role requires officers with excellent customer service and communication skills along with an impeccable appearance.
* Deliver the highest levels of customer service
* Liaison with management and other service providers
* Incident and emergency response
* Compliance to ensure the security and safety of Shard Place, building assets, visitors, staff and tenants
* Working as part of a close team, communicating effectively with others
* To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner and also comply with all client and company policies and procedures
* To undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required
What we are looking for
* Ability to problem solve under pressure and multitask
* Written and verbal communication skills
* SIA Licence
* First Aid Trained
* Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* A willingness to learn and develop and show high level of commitment
