About The Role
We are looking for a diligent individual to join our high performing Corporate team.
The position will be based in our Hereford office. This Corporate team advises clients ranging from private companies to private equity houses and management teams on the full range of corporate matters.
The role objective is to undertake routine legal tasks including:
1. Undertaking legal research, using appropriate methods and sourcing, and presenting the results accurately and timely.
2. Drafting legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates.
3. Ensuring all work complies with risk management policies and procedures, in line with GDPR.
4. Providing legal support to the team and acting as a legal resource, offering help where required.
5. Managing the team's diary to ensure all deadlines are met.
6. Undertaking legal processes under supervision, such as routine file management.
7. Participating actively with the Paralegal and Trainee group and attending networking events or career fairs.
8. Promoting the firm and department through social media channels like LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
About You
As a Paralegal, you should have:
* A legal qualification (preferably post LPC or working towards it).
* Previous experience in a legal environment is desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* A proactive self-starter with a willingness to learn.
* Client-focused approach.
* Strong IT skills with accurate typing.
* Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
