Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working on-site, gaining practical experience.
What you'll do at work
* Assist survey teams with geospatial surveys
* Set up and operate survey equipment such as total stations, GPS, GNSS, and laser scanners
* Process data using software like AutoCAD
* Support health and safety procedures
* Establish survey controls, set out gridlines, levelling, traversing
* Record survey information accurately
* Attend training courses and complete academic work
Where you'll work
Training
Includes time away for specialist training at Dudley College of Technology, plus 20% off-the-job training at work.
Requirements
GCSEs including English and Maths (grades 9-4 / A-C). Relevant qualifications and experience can be considered for adjustments.
