We are currently working with a leading national law firm which is seeking a talented Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor (4 PQE) to join its growing London-based Insurance team. Please call Steph on 020 7183 8586 or email stephanie.murchington@enllegalrecruitment.co.uk The Firm: Finalist at the British Insurance Awards Partners recognised in the Legal 500 Significant market profile and press recognition for thought leadership Rapidly growing team High-quality national client base including major insurers and policyholders The Role: Manage your own caseload of defendant EL/PL claims Assist partners on complex and high-profile litigation Handle pre-action and litigated personal injury and property damage claims Advise on regulatory investigations and prosecutions involving the HSE, police and CQC Attend coroner’s inquests Assist with policy coverage disputes and interpretation issues Work on claims ranging from fast-track matters through to multi-million-pound, multi-party disputes Dealing primarily with instructions from insurers on behalf of policyholders, plus direct non-insurance related instructions. About You: Applications are encouraged from solicitors with: 4 years’ PQE in defendant personal injury litigation Strong experience handling Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims An insurer client background, ideally acting on behalf of insurers/policyholders Excellent technical and drafting ability Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills A proactive, ambitious and organised approach Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills The Opportunity This role offers exposure to high-quality, varied and complex work within a collaborative and ambitious team environment.
