Electrical Shift Engineer
We are looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team in Salford for our Media City contract. This permanent full‑time role works a shift pattern of 4‑on, 4‑off – 4 shifts 07:00‑19:00 followed by 4 days off. Competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
* All‑round engineering support, maintaining building infrastructure and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and building codes.
* Act as coordination point for day‑to‑day onsite activities between the shift engineer and FM management.
* Ensure all activities for the shift are undertaken to professional standards, maintaining 100% uptime.
* Respond to plant failures, complete assigned work and address abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues promptly.
* Run operation whilst on duty, including monitoring night shift engineers and subcontractors.
* Report difficulties to Engineering Supervisor/Manager and complete daily record keeping.
* Participate in out‑of‑hours call‑out and overtime for onsite works and site cover.
* Read, write and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements; carry out PPM tasks, reactive callouts on critical systems, compliance testing, minor installation works, etc.
* Promote company values and keep up to date with industry developments.
Qualifications and Experience
* City and Guilds training.
* Good experience of electrical maintenance and repairs.
* Previous AP/Ae experience and qualifications preferred but not essential.
