The Assistant Regimental Secretary is to deputise for the Regimental Secretary LD. You will be intrinsic to supporting the delivery of activity relating to communications, heritage, commemoration and ceremonial, welfare and benevolence and resettlement, as well as a myriad of other activities that benefit the LD community. You will be part of a small team of staff who will aid in this service delivery, and you will assist the Regimental Secretary who is responsible for oversight and coordination. A detailed knowledge of the Royal Armoured Corps and its regiments, including all customs and practices, is essential for this post Domestic Considerations: HHQ LD office based (Mon-Fri) with some travel. Provide administrative support and office management support to the Regimental Secretary. 2. Maintain and enhance Regimental pride, ethos and reputation. 3. Administrative support to the Regimental Association. 4. Support to commemorative and ceremonial tasks. 5. Provide administrative support to the Regimental Charity. 6. In conjunction with the Regimental Chief Clerk, optimise the One Day Pay sheme provision for the Regiment. 7. Assist the Regiment with their management of Regimental property. 8. Support Regimental Association activities and Guidon parades. 9. Undertake Regimental marketing. 10. Provide welfare and benevolence (to Regular, Reserve and Retired). 11. Support to ROG. 12. Support to families of the bereaved and WIS. 13. Support to legacy investigations. 14. Manage Regimental non-public funds. 15. Support HHQ Civil Engagement.
