Electronics Engineer
West London
On Site Role
£55,000-£65,000
We are currently partnering with an innovative deep-tech hardware company developing next-generation data storage technology. Following recent investment and continued technical success, the business is now scaling significantly and expanding its engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
The company is developing highly advanced storage systems focused on long‑life, energy‑efficient, and resilient infrastructure solutions designed to meet the increasing demands of modern data environments. As part of this growth, they are now looking to hire an Electronics Engineer to support the continued development of complex PCB‑based hardware systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Engineer who enjoys working across the full hardware lifecycle — from schematic capture and PCB design through to bring‑up, debugging, validation, and manufacturing support. You will join a highly collaborative R&D team working on cutting‑edge electromechanical and electronic systems in a fast‑paced environment. The role will involve hands‑on lab work, PCB development, validation testing, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support the transition from prototype hardware into manufacturable products.
The role is based in West London and requires onsite working 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and update PCB schematics for subsystem electronics.
* Support PCB layout activities directly or alongside layout engineers.
* Select components with consideration for performance, availability, cost, and manufacturability.
* Bring up, debug, and validate PCB assemblies using lab equipment and structured testing methods.
* Work across analog, digital, sensor interface, motor driver, and power electronics systems.
* Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation for prototype and production builds.
* Support EMC, reliability, and validation testing activities.
* Investigate and resolve PCB assembly and manufacturing‑related issues with suppliers and partners.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams.
