We are looking for candidates who:

Have completed an undergraduate or master’s degree ( Environmental Science, Geography, Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development Studies) level qualification in a relevant subject by summer 2026.

And with the following Key Skills & Attributes:

You must:

1. Be able to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
2. Stay up to date with a broad range of current sustainability issues and best practice given the continuous evolution of environmental and sustainability topics.
3. Be able to understand and apply sustainability practices to align with the specific goals and requirements for our key clients.
4. Be able to critically analyse and evaluate complex environmental challenges within the context of our clients.
5. Manage multiple concurrent projects within fast-paced, multidisciplinary settings.
6. Have a continuous improvement mindset, a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and share your knowledge.

You must be:

7. A flexible self-starter, who is keen to drive their career forward.
8. Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things.

And, have the permanent right to work in the UK.

Our Graduate Programme assumes that participants are commencing their first professional role post-graduation. To qualify for our Graduate Programme, you must therefore have:

9. Completed your first degree no earlier than the summer of 2024
10. Not worked in a similar professional role since graduation
11. Achieved a minimum 2:2 in your first degree

Selection Process

Step 1: Apply Online

Step 2: Successful candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment

Step 3: Those who are selected will be invited to a final face to face interview with our operations teams.

Step 4: Selected candidates will be offered an opportunity to join Amentum Graduate Programe in September 2026.

We will close the application window for this role on 31st January 2026, however we reserve the right to close the role sooner should we receive the required number of applications.
