Hiring: Event Planner / Conference Coordinator
Location: Egham, UK (Hybrid – 1 day onsite, 4 days remote)
Contract: Until 31st December 2026
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour PAYE (eTeam Payroll)
⏰ Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are currently looking for an experienced Event Planner / Conference Coordinator to support the operational delivery of both virtual and onsite conferences across the UK and internationally.
⚠️ Please Note:
This role is heavily focused on event registrations and conference operations rather than full end-to-end event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage virtual event operations from start to finish including registration setup and management
✔️ Coordinate with internal stakeholders on delivery specifications and event execution
✔️ Support onsite and virtual conferences across multiple international locations
✔️ Train program partners on registration tools, event technologies, and conference processes
✔️ Improve attendee engagement and enhance customer experience through innovative event solutions
✔️ Identify operational efficiencies and workflow improvements across high-volume events
✔️ Collaborate with global conference teams on process enhancements and best practices
✔️ Support special projects related to virtual event delivery and workflow optimization
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in conference coordination, event operations, or virtual event support
✅ Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory
✅ Must be local to the Egham office (1 day onsite required weekly)
✅ Active passport and willingness to travel internationally
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
✅ Experience with virtual event platforms such as Zoom or Webex preferred
✅ Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to work independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
