Owen Mumford is looking to hire a ICT Manager! Could this be your next role? ? As the the ICT Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the ICT department in alignment with the business objectives of the Group. In this role you will plan, direct, coordinate and design ICT activities, as well as provide direction and support for the daily operational activities of the ICT department. You will support with the development of a functional strategic roadmap that is consistent with the business objectives to encompass ICT related activities within affiliates on a worldwide basis to ensure an appropriate balance is maintained between central and local ICT control. This role is based at our Chipping Norton & Witney site. Key Responsibilities: Delivery of a motivated, continuous improvement culture within the team - ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day ICT activities that support the business. Responsible for leading ICT operations and infrastructure development ensuring that an appropriate technical support framework is in place,including the management and delivery of internal and external service support and service delivery within a defined service level agreement (SLA). Management of the technical aspect of key business applications such as the Group's ERP and document management solutions. Taking an authoritative, pro-active approach in dealing with external suppliers, including in relation to outsourced activities. Responsible for the management of delivery of key ICT business strategies as outlined by the Group Quality & RA Director and consistent with the objectives of the Group. Responsible for managing the ICT department and supporting the Group Quality & RA Director in controlling the use of ICT within the Group whilst ensuring regulatory and legal compliance at all times. Responsible for ICT aspects of the business continuity plan (BCP), ensuring adequate back up and disaster recovery systems are in place in line with the BCP, including selection and negotiation of external maintenance and support contracts. Responsible for adequate security systems to protect the integrity of all ICT systems to include virus protection, firewalls, file protection and formulation of computer security technologies. To strongly promote innovation in the ICT team and develop the ICT team through professional development, attending industry events which keep them at the forefront of technology and best practice To be successful in this role, you will need: Good understanding of the major components supporting a complex shared ICT service infrastructure including virtualisation, data warehouse, data integration, development support and user facing services Experience of working with ICT in a regulated industry An understanding of provision of ICT within a multi-national Understanding of commercial contracts, service level agreements and KPls Experience of managing change A track record of successfully delivering complex ICT projects Experience of SQL and management of the technical aspects of ERP solutions Experience of managing, inspiring, engaging and motivating a team and colleagues to achieve excellent results in a user focused environment What will we give you?
