Procurement Manager – Non-Food Procurement (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
About the Company
Our client is a leading catering and hospitality business. The group’s central support office provides finance, HR, IT, supply chain, and other shared services to its operating companies, each of which maintains its own brand identity.
Role Overview
The Procurement Manager will take ownership of all non-food categories, including packaging, chemicals, janitorial supplies, stationery, and uniforms, across the group’s UK and Ireland operations. Reporting to the Head of Wholesale Procurement, the successful candidate will define and deliver category strategies that drive cost efficiency, sustainability, and supplier performance in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance in line with the company’s procurement framework.
* Develop and implement category strategies that add value, reduce risk, and meet ESG (sustainability) objectives.
* Conduct market analysis to identify innovations, trends, and cost‑saving opportunities.
* Lead negotiations and contract management processes, ensuring legal and commercial best practices.
