VIGO is teaming up with a leading force in the smart buildings sector seeking to bolster their London team with a seasoned, sharp Project Engineer. If you've got a track record in Building Management Systems (BMS) engineering and a burning enthusiasm for project delivery, this might just be your next stop.
You'll be diving head-first into diverse projects, from small works to medium-sized projects, and spearheading innovation works.
**Role Overview**
As a Project Engineer, you will be the central point for delivering a diverse range of BMS projects. From technical delivery to client liaison, you'll be responsible for keeping projects on track and ensuring results that exceed client expectations.
**Key Responsibilities**
Manage full project lifecycle from initial concept through to commissioning and handover to client
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and end-users
Deliver technical excellence across BMS system design, installation, and commissioning
Continually monitor and manage project risks, ensuring all aspects stay within scope, schedule, and defined budgets
Prepare and deliver project status reports, maintaining precise records
Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for future improvement
**The Ideal Candidate**
Proven experience in a similar BMS Project Engineering role
In-depth knowledge of BMS technology, including Trend, Tridium, or equivalent systems
Strong project management skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills with a talent for fostering positive stakeholder relationships
Degree in engineering, or industry-related discipline would be advantageous
Full UK driving licence
