Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a flexible and rewarding community-based role?
We’re recruiting Acute Community Nurses (Home Visit Nurses) to join our established clinical team in the Gillingham and wider Kent area. You’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in people’s homes — helping reduce hospital pressures, improve patient flow, and enhance care access across the community.
About the Role
* Attend a morning hospital handover before commencing community visits.
* Provide safe and effective clinical care in patients’ homes.
* Administer IV medications and manage PICC lines confidently.
* Deliver wound care, cannulation, and monitoring of patient progress.
* Escalate concerns promptly and maintain clear communication with the multidisciplinary team.
* Record care accurately using digital systems and uphold data governance standards.
* Play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care close to home.
Requirements
* NMC-registered Registered Nurse (Adult).
* Recent acute clinical experience essential.
* Skilled in IV medication administration, PICC line management, wound care, and cannulation.
* Strong clinical judgement and escalation ability.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Must complete a 1-hour remote training session before commencing shifts.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally (mileage paid).
