We're partnering with a rapidly growing FinTech business that's redefining the digital payments space. As the company continues to expand its regulated activities, they're looking for a talented Regulatory Manager to lead on compliance and regulatory oversight, ensuring full alignment with FCA requirements and best practice within the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) environment.
The Role
As Regulatory Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with FCA regulations and ensuring the business operates in accordance with its EMI permissions. You'll oversee key regulatory obligations, advise senior management on compliance matters, and support the continuous improvement of frameworks that safeguard the business, its customers, and its partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the organisation's regulatory compliance programme, ensuring adherence to FCA and EMI requirements.
* Maintain and enhance compliance and regulatory frameworks, including policies, monitoring plans, and control documentation.
* Act as a key point of contact for regulatory communications, audits, and supervisory engagements.
* Oversee the regulatory reporting process and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
* Support risk and compliance committees with reporting, tracking actions, and ensuring ongoing assurance.
* Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on EMI operations, advising on required changes and implementations.
* Provide advice, guidance, and training across the business to embed a strong compliance culture.
* Support internal and external audits, ensuring recommendations are implemented effectively.
About You
* Proven experience in regulatory compliance or risk management within a FinTech, payments, or EMI environment.
* Strong understanding of FCA regulations, Payment Services Regulations (PSRs), and Electronic Money Regulations (EMRs).
* Experience in developing and maintaining governance or compliance frameworks for regulated entities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise and influence senior leadership.
* Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
