We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant with specialist expertise in TUPE and post-acquisition integration to support a significant organisational change programme.
This role will lead on the end-to-end TUPE process, ensuring compliance, effective communication, and a smooth transition for impacted employees. The Consultant will also play a key role in aligning culture as part of the wider integration plan.
This role will be Field/Remote based with regular travel to offices when required and is offered on a 6 Month FTC basis.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Group and Divisional M&A Team in completing the full TUPE process including due diligence, employee liability information, consultation planning, and transfer execution.
Provide expert advice to senior leaders, managers, and HR colleagues on all TUPE-related matters, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Develop and deliver consultation materials, communications, and engagement plans for impacted employee groups.
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, HR, and operational teams to ensure all statutory obligations and internal governance requirements are met.
Support the design and implementation of integration plans covering organisational structure, policies, processes, culture, and ways of working.
Conduct policy audits and harmonisation work, recommending updates and supporting change implementation.
Manage employee relations issues arising from the transfer, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution.
Provide coaching and support to managers to build capability in handling change and embedding new practices.
Track project milestones, maintain accurate documentation, and report progress to key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience leading TUPE transfers, ideally in complex or multi site environments.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law relating to TUPE, consultation, and organisational change.
Demonstrated experience in post-merger or post-acquisition integration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Strong project management capability and ability to work at pace.
Experience managing complex employee relations matters.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes to tight timelines.
CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
