SKILLS
* The ability to adapt to the work environment (fast-paced environment, weather changes, small spaces, etc.)

* The ability to lift 50lbs or more
* Possess a strong attention to detail and alert to ensure all OSHA safety guidelines are being followed

QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
* 3+ years of experience as a TIG/ MIG Welder/Stick
* Must be able to pass a 6G weld certification test
* The ability to travel (not optional)
* A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is
* Experience piping with cooling towers, chillers, boilers, large roof top equipment
* Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines
* Utilize hand tools, plasma cutters, and metal cutting machines to measure and cut metal components
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all OSHA safety protocols
* Observes and complies with all safety and project rules, as well as all company policies and procedures
* Must be detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, and be able to work as part of a team
* Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments
* Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
* Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
* Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
* Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
* Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
