Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced finance team. This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate processing of transactions and maintaining strong financial controls.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
* Raising and issuing sales invoices
* Assisting with credit control, including chasing outstanding payments
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting bank reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
* Handling finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
