An opportunity has arisen at the Barnard Medical Group for an Administrator. The post holder will undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth operation of the Practice.
Candidates must have prior experience of working within General Practice and be performing/performed a similar role. The post holder should possess an expert working knowledge of EMIS Web, EMIS Community, Docman and Accurx.
The successful post holder will possess excellent communications skills, be enthusiastic and committed to delivery the highest standard of patient care and be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
We are a dynamic, ever evolving practice with 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 6 Practice Nurses, in-house Pharmacists, a Mental Health Practitioner, First Contact Physiotherapist, Dietician in addition to a large reception and administrative team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To support the Practice Manager and wider team to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
To identify opportunities for improving service delivery and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
To monitor and review the Practice mailbox, ensuring any queries are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
To efficiently process and review Medical Records, Insurance Reports and SAR requests whilst ensuring strict patient confidentially, including adherence to GDPR guidelines.
To efficiently manage cytology recalls.
To act as a point of contact for Practice staff on queries related to administrative tasks.
Undertake additional duties appropriate to the post as requesed by the GP Partners or the Practice Manager.
