Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Technical Author to join their permanent team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the generation and management of technical publications for the installation and maintenance of interior equipment. Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain Technical Publications, including Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Information Letters (SILs), Crew Training Manuals, Maintenance Training Manuals, Installation Instructions, and Service Bulletins (SBs). Understand and comply with industry standards, and support the identification of necessary methods or publishing tools. Support effective processes and methods in the creation and maintenance of technical publications, adhering to the company's quality standards. Liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Configuration, and Customer Support as necessary. Key Performance Measures: Set performance KPIs to ensure quality service delivery in a timely manner. Achieve On Time Delivery (OTD) for engineering deliverables. Key Challenges: Deliver high-quality technical publications meeting industry and OEM standards within challenging schedules.
