The Role
As a History Teacher, you will inspire students to explore historical events, understand different perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. You will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage curiosity and academic achievement while helping students build a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages.
* Inspire students to understand historical events and perspectives.
* Encourage analytical thinking, discussion, and independent learning.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
* Support students in preparation for assessments and examinations.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental initiatives and school activities.
Requirements
* QTS or QTLS certification.
* PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for History education.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
* ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply.
