Quality Control Technician Summary: The main function of a Manufacturing Technician is to inspect, assemble, and package laboratory consumables in accordance with defined specifications and quality standards. whilst the Laboratory Products Division, plays a vital part in supporting research, diagnostic, and clinical environments. * Set up and operate packaging and labelling equipment. * Print labels using the approved label software. * Complete required paperwork related to Packaging/ Labelling - Batch Record Sheets, Engineering Change Notices, deviations, etc. * Develop and understand material process flow. This includes knowledge of raw material, staging, work in process, paperwork, storage areas, general production steps. * Assist in Quality Control/Peer Review with in-process inspections and finished goods inspections. * Cross train and help in other departments as needed. * Perform calibration and preventative maintenance of labelling equipment. * Promote a constructive working environment by building and maintaining positive relationships with co-workers. * Process label work orders for manufacturing departments, travellers, and any other documents that require printing. * Input downtime data and process batch records. * To perform any other duties as reasonably required.
