About the Role: In this role, you will deliver high-quality lessons in Drama and Performing Arts, encouraging students to explore performance, movement, voice, and character work. You will support learners in building teamwork, communication, and creative thinking skills through a variety of engaging activities and productions. Responsibilities include: Curriculum Delivery: Teach Drama and Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4, using creative and practical approaches. Performance Opportunities: Guide students through rehearsals, group work, and school productions, helping them refine their craft. Assessment & Support: Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in building confidence on and off the stage. Learning Environment: Create a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to enrich the wider performing arts curriculum and contribute ideas to school events. To be successful as a Teacher of Drama / Performing Arts, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field. Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts at KS3 and KS4. Strong practical performance skills and an ability to lead creative activities. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management. A passion for developing students’ artistic abilities and personal confidence. Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education. What We Offer: A competitive daily rate of £150 to £230, based on experience..
