If so, we have a great opportunity for a Paralegal to join our growing Public Funding team in Newcastle. Whilst experience in public sector projects would be useful, it is not essential – what is essential is that you’re able to work well as part of a team.
What will I be doing
* Drafting advice to clients, including reviewing information, drafting Subsidy Control advice letters and developing Grant Funding Agreements.
* Helping to promote the work of the Public Funding team through business development activities, including writing articles and helping with presentations.
* Developing an understanding of the areas of law associated with public funding.
You’ll have
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office and good all‑round IT skills.
* The ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, and manage your time effectively.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* The ability to adapt your style, be proactive, and effectively solve problems.
* Previous experience working upon Public Sector matters and / or commercial contracts would be advantageous but not essential.
