About Us:
MOST Bakery is a small, independent, artisan bakery based in Altrincham. We're known for our freshly baked goods, specialty coffee, and friendly, community-focused vibe. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Shift Supervisor to support the FOH Team Leader and wider team.
The Role:
Ideal for an experienced barista with some team management experience or able to provide evidence they are ready to take their first step into a leadership role, this position offers hands-on responsibility in a supportive environment. You'll lead shifts, uphold excellent service standards, and play an important part in our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Open/close as required
* Supervise and support team members to deliver great service
* Maintain high standards of coffee quality and food presentation - making/supervising a high standard of coffee
* Manage workflow during busy periods and ensure smooth service
* Handle stock checks, restocking, and basic ordering
* Oversee cleanliness and health & safety compliance
* Provide feedback to management on team and sales
What We're Looking For:
* Confident, experienced barista (minimum 1 year)
* Good standard of latte art
* Friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Comfortable taking initiative and leading a team
* Hospitality or café supervisory experience a bonus, but not essential

Proposed hours:
This is a part time role with approx 26.5 hrs per week available across set shifts. We need a shift supervisor on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The bakery is open Tuesday - Saturday (8 - 4:30) and Sundays
Interviews with our Bakery Front of House team leader will begin asap. You may then be invited to a trial shift followed by a final interview with MOST's owners.
