We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to oversee General Adult Mental Health services across a diverse geographical area, including both urban and remote/rural communities. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and in driving service development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a multidisciplinary mental health team, ensuring effective service delivery across varied settings.
* Support staff through supervision, development, and performance management.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service integration and continuity of care.
* Drive service improvement initiatives aligned with NHS Highland strategic priorities.
* Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk management protocols.
Essential Criteria
* Degree-level qualification in Mental Health or equivalent professional registration.
* Proven experience in staff management within a mental health setting.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability in service development and quality improvement.
* Understanding of the challenges and opportunities in delivering care in remote and rural areas.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working across both community and inpatient mental health services.
* Knowledge of NHS Highland systems and local health and social care networks.
* Training in trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, or similar frameworks.
