Overview
We're delighted to be working with a growing consumer brand in the halal food sector, currently seeking a talented and hands-on Senior Digital Marketing Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is redefining how high-quality, authentic halal products are delivered to customers across the UK.
The company's mission is to raise the standard of halal supply chains — ensuring quality, integrity, and trust in every product they deliver. The brand is part of a wider group that also owns other successful eCommerce businesses, including a major online bookseller. However, this role is dedicated exclusively to the halal food brand.
Key Details
* Base: Wallingford, Oxfordshire (marketing team location).
* The brand's main operations are in Reading, Berkshire, and occasional travel there will be required to meet stakeholders, visit the distribution centre, and support social media content creation.
* Hybrid working: 3 days in the office (Tuesday–Thursday) and 2 days working from home (Monday & Friday).
* Salary range: £40-50K per annum (dependent on experience).
The Role
The Senior Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing a data-driven digital marketing strategy that enhances brand visibility, drives customer engagement, and supports sales growth.
Core Responsibilities:
* Manage on-site merchandising, ensuring the website and app remain engaging, seasonally relevant, and aligned with brand presentation (Shopify platform).
* Plan, create, and analyse email campaigns using Klaviyo to drive engagement and conversions.
* Collaborate with influencers and social media partners to extend reach and promote brand values.
* Develop a strong understanding of customer personas to tailor digital communications and campaigns effectively.
* Work with UX/UI teams to optimise customer journeys and improve conversion rates.
* Implement cross-sell and up-sell strategies to maximise customer lifetime value.
* Ensure all brand communications reinforce key values and halal integrity.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for a data-driven, creative, and food-passionate marketer who understands the importance of authenticity and cultural values within the Muslim and halal communities.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong track record in digital marketing with hands-on experience using Shopify and Klaviyo.
* Proven experience in website merchandising and email campaign performance analysis.
* Confident in managing influencer collaborations and social media growth strategies.
* Solid understanding of halal principles and their relevance in consumer branding.
* Analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills and experience making data-led decisions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
