About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to provide essential support to the payroll function during the absence of a team member. This is a temporary role, ideal for someone with strong numerical skills and payroll experience who can step in quickly and keep things running smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Assist with payroll processing to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time
* Maintain payroll records and update employee information as required
* Support the finance team with general accounts administration
* Handle queries from employees regarding pay and deductions
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation
Qualifications
* Previous experience in payroll or accounts administration
Required Skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with staff and management.
