Teaching Personnel is recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to work with our partner secondary schools in the Bridgwater area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about physical education, enjoys promoting an active lifestyle, and can inspire students to participate confidently in a wide range of sports and activities.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons, contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programmes, and support students in developing teamwork, resilience and a positive approach to physical wellbeing.
What the role involves:
* Delivering PE lessons across Key Stages
* Encouraging participation and enjoyment in both team and individual sports
* Supporting whole-school sporting events, fixtures and enrichment activities
* Creating an inclusive environment where all students can succeed
* Contributing to the wider life of the school where required
What we are looking for:
* QTS or equivalent PE specialism
* Strong subject knowledge in physical education and sport
* A positive and professional approach to behaviour and classroom management
* Confidence in leading activities, coaching and motivating young people
* A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to the school community
