We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join our large and well-resourced Science Department from January to May 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT.
About the Science Department
Our Science Department is the largest in the school, organised across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with teachers typically delivering at least two science subjects to GCSE level. The department benefits from:
11 modern, fully equipped laboratories
3 dedicated prep rooms
Two experienced laboratory technicians
A collaborative team of specialist teachers
Newly refurbished facilities following a £1.2 million investment
Students follow AQA Combined Science at KS4, with options for separate sciences, and A Level Biology (OCR), Chemistry and Physics in the Sixth Form.
