An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Toyota / Independent Lexus / Hybrid Specialist garage located in Milton Keynes.
We are a trusted, family owned business which is made up of a small team which includes highly experienced and fully qualified manufacturer trained technicians with over 25 years’ experience with the Toyota and Lexus brands.
We are experts in Hybrid technology; aided by the use of manufacturer level diagnostic equipment we are able to meet the high standards and expectations of our customers. As an MOT centre we do also support other makes and models of motor vehicle.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a Qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent (MOT Tester preferred but not essential)
* Hold a current and Valid UK Driving Licence
* Be dedicated and committed
* Have the ability to communicate and support both customers and colleagues
* Will have a keen eye for detail to realise the importance of giving every vehicle we look after receives the highest standard of care
Main duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
* MOT testing as set by the guidelines of the DVSA
* Carrying out vehicle services and repairs, in accordance with manufacturer technical standards, ensuring we deliver the highest standards.
* Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by customer.
* Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs and complete appropriate documentation on each repair using appropriate methods
