Reporting to: Omnichannel Shopper Manager

Duration: 12 months

On site ( 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week)

We are looking for a bright, energetic, and highly curious individual to join our UK Omnichannel Shopper Marketing Team for a vital 1-year industrial placement. You will play a key role in accelerating our strategic brands across core UK & Ireland retailers. This is your chance to learn how to reach shoppers at every point along their path to purchase—from in-store point of sale to online, social, events, and influencer content—to drive awareness, consideration, and purchase.

Reporting to the Omnichannel Shopper Marketing Manager, you will gain hands-on experience managing your own portfolio of retailers and working across the full marketing funnel. As an integral part of the team, your main responsibilities will include:Deployment of Activations for Core Accounts

* Develop and implement Category Demand Omnichannel shopper marketing programs specifically for Superdrug and Waitrose.

* Collaboratively deliver the Ocado digital plan alongside the Customer Development Managers (CDM).

* Work closely with Colgate-Palmolive’s brand teams and media agencies on asset creation and content strategy.

* Build strong relationships with CDMs to align plans with Above The Line (ABL) media strategic priorities and promotional commitments.

* Review results against key performance indicators (KPIs), report back on progress, successes, and learnings, and take corrective action where necessary.

Take Ownership and Effectively Manage Budgets

* Manage account budgets on an ongoing basis, ensuring phasing is maintained, preventing overspends, and communicating any concerns or opportunities effectively.

* Ensure all monthly budget processes are completed in a timely manner.

Lead on Superdrug Presents Experiential Event

* Lead the planning and execution of a fully immersive beauty event for Superdrug Presents, driving awareness for Colgate’s whitening and multi-benefit portfolio.

* Work with the commercial team and brand teams to set clear objectives, KPIs, and brand focus for the event.

* Manage agencies on briefing, planning, and execution of stand design, engagement, and competitions, ensuring all assets align with our brand look and feel.

* Work with the digital marketing team to ensure a full digital support plan is in place to drive strong engagement at the event and extend awareness afterwards.

* Ensure all relevant brand, shopper, and legal approvals and sign-offs are carried out.



What You'll Need to Succeed



We are looking for a future leader who is results-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about marketing.Required Qualifications

* Currently studying for a University degree at a minimum, ideally a BS degree in Marketing or a related field.

* English fluency is mandated; other European languages would be a plus.

* Experience in marketing and/or in FMCG companies is preferable.

* Stakeholder Management: Excellent cross-organisational collaboration and communication skills, effectively working across functions and channels to align priorities and drive execution.

* Content Creation: Experience in creating content for digital platforms and traditional media channels, with knowledge of analytical tools.
