Railway Medical Group is seeking an experienced Locum GP toprovide additional 12 month maternity cover. You will deliver face-to-faceand telephone consultations, plus one home visit per day.

Location: Gatacre St, Blyth, Northumberland, NE24 1HD
Contract Duration: 12 months (30th September 2025 25thSeptember 2026)
Working Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday each week
Sessions: Full days on working days, including one homevisit
Main duties of the job
Conduct 12 face-to-face appointments per morning andafternoon clinic
Complete 1 home visit per working day
Complete associated administration (test ordering,medication queries, referral letters) within the session
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GMC and practiceprofessional standards
Full working days on Tuesdays,Thursdays, Friday.Start / finish time negotiable
Additional hours by prior agreement, paid at a mutuallyagreed rate
Self-employed contractor status (no paid leave or statutorybenefits)

Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
Membership of a Medical Defence Organisation
On the Primary Medical Services Performers List
Up-to-date DBS check (or equivalent via Performers List)
Ability to work independently and follow practice protocols
Commitment to providing excellent patient care andcooperating with investigations or complaints as required
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Fully Qualified GP
* Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
* Membership of a Medical Defence Organisation
* On the Primary Medical Services Performers List
* Up-to-date DBS check (or equivalent via Performers List)
* Ability to work independently and follow practice protocols
* Commitment to providing excellent patient care and cooperating with investigations or complaints as required
Experience
* Fully Qualified GP eligible to work in General Practice in the NHS - Full GMC Registration - On Performers List or eligible to apply - Clear DBS report.
* Experience of working in primary care - Experience of working in a GP Practice.
