Overview
Coordinator Library Customer Service leads the delivery of outstanding customer service across the library network, through the support and development of trained, responsive and engaged staff. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Manager of Library and Museum Services with a large team of direct and indirect reports.

* Employment type: Permanent, Full Time
* Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week over a seven-day bandwidth
* Salary: $111,867.28 to $122,577.95
* Location: Liverpool, New South Wales
Responsibilities
* Drafting and contributing to policy development; planning and delivering the library’s strategic, financial, workforce, information and communications technology and operational plans.
* Support and develop a team of Customer Service and Branch staff to deliver quality services to internal and external customers through regular meetings, data collection and evaluation, individual reviews, annual work plans and ongoing communications.
* Lead the delivery of customer service across the library network and ensure services meet community needs.
* Manage a large team of direct and indirect reports and collaborate with the Manager of Library and Museum Services.
* Support library service innovation for a growing community.
About You / Qualifications
* Completion of degree or Postgraduate level library and information studies; eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
* Current Class C Drivers Licence
* Experience in supervisory roles within public libraries, including leading staff teams
* Ability to activate branch libraries with innovative and community-inclusive programming
* Experience in resolving customer issues and delivering quality customer service
* Experience implementing innovative library information technology systems and customer service programs
* Experience developing and implementing library policies and plans
* Experience identifying and training staff, and implementing training programs
* Experience implementing changes in library services and systems
