The Opportunity

Role: Commercial Management (Quantity Surveying) Graduate

Start date: Early September 2026

Location: London (Heathrow)

On our two‑year Graduate Programme, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects from the very start. Whether it’s shaping sustainable places, creating smarter infrastructure, or helping clients solve complex challenges, you’ll play a real part in projects that make a lasting difference – to people, to places, and to the planet.

The infrastructure market connects people and places through some of the UK’s most significant transport projects. From major rail programmes such as HS2 Euston and Curzon Street to world‑class aviation projects at Heathrow, we’re helping to build the next generation of sustainable, efficient transport hubs. What you’ll do


Responsibilities

* Commercial management of subcontract packages
* Support procurement of subcontract packages and materials
* Assist the commercial team, including administering client and subcontract changes
* Feed into risk and opportunity reporting
* Mitigate risks and protect packages/project margins
* Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team

You will also work towards gaining professional membership of a professional association, fully funded and supported by us with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

About You

* A future or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in any subject.
* 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications).

Given the nature of our work, adaptability is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace Construct offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role. To support this, Mace Construct offers travel expense reimbursements for business travel, including mileage, public transport fares, and, where necessary, accommodation.
