About The Role
The Training Department Support Team provides responsive, person‑centred operational support that enables our people to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate experiences helping people make the most of their connection with a dog.
The team delivers support in person, over the phone, via written communication, and using our CRM system (Dynamics 365), ensuring every interaction is handled with care, accuracy, and empathy.
With a strong commitment to safeguarding, efficiency, and continuous improvement, the team coordinates the systems, processes, and insights that keep services running smoothly and sustainably.
This role is both operational and strategic, and you’ll need to take a consultative approach to understanding how the team functions, and how it can evolve to meet the changing needs of the wider charity. Reporting to the Strategy & Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the team, reviewing the operation and processes to ensure that it continues to deliver an efficient, high‑quality service and standard of work. Guided by the organisational strategy, and influenced by The Promise, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence within the team.
This is initially a six month fixed term contract but there may be the opportunity to extend.
About You
You’re someone who truly models The Promise in every interaction and decision, bringing curiosity, empathy, and a solutions‑focused mindset to your work. You naturally build trust and foster positive relationships within your team and across the organisation, encouraging innovation and embracing change along the way. You have demonstrated expertise in resource management, process improvement, strategic planning and making sure that teams and workflows run smoothly and efficiently.
