Location: Basildon Tractor Plant, Cranes Farm Rd, Basildon SS14 3AD
Reporting to: Security Supervisor
Hours: Shift pattern including days, nights, and weekends (average 42 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £13.17 per hour (paid hourly via clocking system)

About the Role
* Deliver a comprehensive security service, ensuring the safety of the site, personnel, and visitors.
* Conduct regular patrols, monitor systems, and respond promptly to incidents, including fire and emergency situations.
* Control access to the site, issue passes, and greet visitors professionally at gatehouse or reception areas.
* Monitor CCTV systems and respond in line with site procedures.
* Respond to fire incidents and participate in confined space rescue situations, as trained.
* Support administrative tasks such as rota preparation, conference room bookings, and general operational support.
* Answer the switchboard and direct calls appropriately.
What We Are Looking For
* Valid Front Line SIA licence and a full UK driving licence.
* Willingness and ability to undertake training in fire safety and confined space rescue.
* Ability to follow procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
* Strong commitment to health and safety at all times.
* Good communication skills and comfort working independently and as part of a team.
* Capacity for physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting where necessary.
