Key Responsibilities
* Assisting fee earners in handling a caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters.
* Preparing and drafting legal documents and client correspondence.
* Conducting searches, dealing with Land Registry applications, and completing SDLT forms.
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
* Opening and closing files, managing case documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
* Supporting with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth progression of files.
About You
* Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a residential conveyancing support role.
* Solid understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion.
* Strong IT skills, particularly with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
* A client-focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
