We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Doncaster. This role is key to delivering a high-quality, timely safeguarding response for children, young people and families at the point of referral.
About the role:
To provide a local, professional social care service for children, young people and families in need, ensuring effective decision‑making, early identification of risk, and proportionate intervention to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibities :
* Screen, triage and assess referrals within a MASH setting
* Contribute to both voluntary and statutory social work interventions
* Undertake professional social work tasks in line with legislation, policy, and evidence‑based practice
* Manage a caseload of children who are:
1. Children in Need
2. At risk of significant harm
3. Looked After Children
* Make informed safeguarding decisions and recommendations
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies including police, health and education
* Maintain accurate, timely and high‑quality case records
